TAYLOR & RACHAEL

Taylor and Rachael have been married for 11 years and have two children. They met in jr. high and both serve in the military—Taylor as an Air-Force Reserve chaplain and Rachael as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

The Antones are thrilled to embark on a new church planting mission in Charleston, SC, where they hope to create a community of healthy and passionate Christ followers. Using their military and health background, they hope to engage both the military and medical communities in Charleston with the hope of Christ.

Taylor and Rachael are praying that the Lord would bring about a holistic ministry to fill the city with healthy disciples who love Jesus with all.

TAYLOR’S STORY

Preparation & Education

Taylor accepted Christ as a teenager through the ministry of Rileyville Baptist Church in Virginia. He began teaching and leading in ministry early on before attending Liberty University where he received a degree in Religion and Biblical Studies in 2012 as well as his graduate studies a Master of Divinity in 2018.

Military Presence

Throughout this time, Taylor has served in the military both the United States Army and today he serves in the United States Air Force as a Reserve chaplain. In this role, he provides spiritual care and the opportunity for Airmen, their families, and other authorized personnel to exercise their constitutional right to the free exercise of religion. He advocates for these Airmen and advises leadership on moral, ethical, and religious issues.

Ministry Roles

He has served in ministry roles in California, Maryland, Texas, and Virginia where he served as one of the Pastoral partners for a church plant, City Light Church in Falls Church, VA, established in September 2019.
